Research

Research interests include women's mental and reproductive health, sexuality, subjectivity, modes of disease screening, risk perception and the convergence of women's sexuality, the body, gender and technology. I am currently crafting a doctoral research project around conceptions of intimacy among women engaged in casual sexual encounters facilitated by the internet, and the ideology circulating at the level of discourse and within the individual around these practices.
